The Approved Driving Instructor Training at GSM Driving Academy, As from the 10th August 2005 examiners will check to see if you can do vehicle safety checks. You will need to explain how to check the condition and safety of three parts of a car and then show how to do the same check on two more parts.
There are some important differences between the ADI driving test and the regular car-driving test for beginners. You have to read a number plate from a little farther away (27.5m or 26.5m, depending on the width of the letters) for the eyesight test. The test takes longer because it includes all of the required maneuvers, and candidates are expected to do better.
The ADI test only lets you make six minor mistakes, while the standard learner test lets you make 15. The ADI test is also stricter about what counts as a minor driving mistake.
When you sign up for ADI Training Courses, you'll be fully prepared for these requirements. The courses include detailed instructions, hands-on demonstrations, and expert coaching to help you become a qualified driving instructor.
